Meet Niko of Venice, FL You couldn't ask for a nicer companion than Neko. He is super affectionate and loves to be petted, cuddled and receive belly rubs. He says, "More, please!" He is adorable and will make some lucky person a great friend. He has really blossomed in his foster home and being around other dogs, and his foster thinks he would enjoy a forever home with other dogs to play with. He is also good with cats and kids. Neko came to us quite overweight, but has lost 6 of the 10 pounds he needed to lose, and he can now jump out of the car and land on his feet (instead of splatting on the ground.....YAY!!). He enjoys outings, particulalry the beach, and likes to be with his family. Neko is about 10 years old and weighs 29 pounds. He is a wonderful boy - don't pass him by or think he is too old.
