Dog Location: Jacksonville, FL Note: Chloe does not travel long distances well, so we prefer local or in-state adoptions. Hi, my name is Chloe. I'm a small, sweet little girl. I'm pretty quiet, most of the time you probably wouldn't even know that I'm around. I have a friendly greeting for everyone that I see. I'm kind of special for an eskie because I am good with other dogs, cats and children. Whenever I hear kids playing, I have to go check them out to see what they are doing. I'm pretty sociable. My mom says that I'm very affectionate and am a typical eskie ... a true velcro girl. I tend to prefer being around women, but men are ok. My foster mom thinks I'm a little sad because I don't wag my tail. She thinks that I'm still sad about a significant loss in my earlier life. Well to be honest, I'm sad because I lost my home and everyone I used to know. You see, I was found wandering outside a beauty salon in a rural area of Tennessee. Wouldn't you be sad if that happened to you? But I'm hoping that I will get a new home with lots of love. I would love a home with children, especially a nice little girl (like me). Like most eskies, I'm all white but the only difference is that my tail doesn't curl. It just hangs straight down. I'm still cute and have a sweet personality. My favorite place to sleep is in bed with you. I'm fully housetrained, so you don't have to worry about me when I'm in bed with you. I do need to mention that when I went to the vet recently, they discovered that I have a low thyroid condition. It's easily treated with medication that's not very expensive at all. But I do need to take it for the rest of my life. I just think of it like taking a daily vitamin pill. It's amazing because it gives me energy ... cause I like to go for walks outside and play. And I even like riding in the car. Before I started taking these pills I would just lay around.
