No, he's not an Eskie---Mr. Chunks is quite the little charmer though and loves everybody---women, men, children (young and older), other dogs, and he even LOVES the vets!!

Mr. Chunks is approx 4-5 yrs old and was sprung on 10/18 from the Baldwin Park Animal Shelter and was saved by ERU just minutes before being put to sleep. In his original shelter photo he looked very much like an Eskie. Whoa, was our foster mom surprised when she received this precious tiny package. Nonetheless, it happened to be his LUCKY day. He is very well housebroken, even learned to use a doggie door. He is slightly on the chunky side about a pound or two over weight---however, the vet said he is in great health. Just needs the right kind of food and treats since he's so tiny.

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
