My name is Chip.  I was picked up as a stray and taken to shelter in Western Ohio.

I am friendly, sweet, and lovable.

I am not a pure bred American Eskimo.  I am mixed with another breed but the rescue hasn't been able to figure out.  How cute?  Will that work?  I am approximately 3 years old.

I came to the rescue healthy.  I was vaccinated with a set of boosters on October 1, 2010.  I will receive another round of boosters in three to four weeks.  I did come into the rescue a cherry eye, not neutered and dirty teeth.  I currently weigh 32.4 pounds.

On 10/6/10, I had my teeth cleaned (they are now pearly white); I was neutered and had cherry eyes repaired in both eyes!  I am recovering very well.

I cannot advise you how I am around cats as there are none in the rescue.

I am crate trained and do play well with other dogs.

Eskies Behind Bars (EBB) Program
I entered the EBB program on 10/1/10.  This is a six to eight week training program.  The handlers will teach me basic obedience training and maybe some other tricks. My anticipated graduation date is November 12, 2010.

The adoption fee is $250. The fee covers all vetting which includes vaccines, spay/neuter, HW preventative, flea preventative, or any other medical services needed.

The first step is to fill out an adoption application from our website: www.tlcrescue.com. After the application is received and approved, we will then schedule a home visit. I promise you, this is not painful. This is to see how he/she does in your environment and how he/she gets along with everyone and to answer any questions you may have.
