Hello! My name is Chinook and I am in search of my new family. I am a 9 year young boy who is really well behaved and ready to take on this new time in my life! Like most Eskies, I like to greet people at the door with a bark – hey, it’s my job to let my family know we have guests! I do really well with new people once they are in the house. My hope is that they are coming over to pet me and shower me with attention! I have been raised with cats so I get along really well with them. Actually, sometimes I’m more excited to see them than they are to see me because I love them. But I do behave myself around them so you don’t have to worry about me getting into trouble. I am housetrained – no accidents here! Right now I live in a townhome, so I’m used to going out to do my “business” when I go for walks. And I love to go for those walks!! I ride really well in the car so you can take me with you when you go places – I would love that! I know some special commands too. I know how to “high five” and say “I love you”…I can entertain you for hours! Oh, and most importantly, I love to sing! If you look at my photos, you will see me singing – it’s so much fun! Since I’m a little bit older, the rescue people think that I would do better in a home with older people – particularly older kids. I get pretty nervous around the young kids, so it would be best if I didn’t have to see them every day. But since I’m a little older and already know how to behave, you won’t have to worry about sending me to training! I’m already a good boy!! The rescue people are going to take me to the vet to have my health checked out. I feel really good and think I’m healthy, but they want me to be checked out to make sure. I do need to have my teeth cleaned, so the nice rescue people are going to have that done for me Well, that’s all about me for now. I would really like to find my new family – it would be great to have a new home by Christmas!
