Ole is at the Humane Society of Kandiyohi County in Willmar, MN
The people that surrendered Ole said he was a stray that they brought back to MN from Montana. They estimate him at 16 mos. They had him neutered last month. They do not know of any medical problems. He was kept outdoors and so he is not housetrained. They are not sure how he would do with toddlers, but they answered that he is fine with 5-12 year olds, teenagers and adults. He is ok with other dogs, too playful with cats. He has killed wild rabbits (he lived on a farm). He's been around other dogs, cats and horses. He likes to be groomed. He likes to ride in vehicles, he likes to sit in your lap and cuddle. He has run in a fenced in yard and he has not run off. He loved to play with their 6 and 8 year old kids. They surrendered him because he was getting beat up by their other dog. Since he has arrived, he is nervous and frightened by shelter noises/other dogs and new people, but this is typically seen with new animals. We want to give him the best chance possible of finding a good home. For more info stop by the shelter to meet him or email us at shelter@thehskc.com This pet is up to date with routine shots.
