Learn more about the American Eskimo Dog.
Hi, my name is Chloe! I'm a beautiful 2 1/2 year old mini American Eskimo girl who weighs 16 pounds and I'm about 13 inches tall. I'm spayed, current on all my shots, heartworm negative and on heartworm prevention. I am potty trained, crate trained, and am learning how to go for walks on a leash. I have the softest, whitest fur you can imagine. I'm so pretty that people want to touch me all the time, which I don't care for from strangers.
I'm an excellent watch dog and will immediately alert if any strangers approach my home. Typical Eskie style, I take a while to warm up to strangers but once I know that you are approved by my family, then I warm up quickly. I'm a very active and full of life. I would do great in agility training as I can run fast and jump high. I can also be so very sweet and bathe you in kisses. I'd do better with older kids as my energy tends to knock over the little kids. I get along great with all my other Eskie foster siblings though I don't know how I'd do with cats since my foster mommy doesn't have any. Wouldn't you like to have me in your life and give me a chance at a wonderful life? I make a great friend and companion and I've got lots of love and affection to share with you. If you are interested in me, we can do what's called an "Eskie Railroad" if I'm not local to you. This is a group of volunteer drivers who will each drive a certain distance to get me to you! I'm in Crestview, FL with my foster mommy, Ana. If you would like to know more about me, please send an e-mail right away! Please contact Liz at: liz@eskierescuers.org for more information on me! You can also go to our web site at: www.eskierescuersunited.org and fill out an adoption application for me! There is an adoption fee required to adopt me. Also, please be aware that Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out our fosters as outdoor dogs. Thank you and Eskie kisses to you! Chloe!
