Oliver is an energetic 5 year old little boy and weighs about 12 pounds. He gets along well with other dogs and loves people.
Oliver is a little cuddle bug and follows you everywhere. His favorite activity is sleeping on your lap. He especailly loves snuggling in bed at night, and sprawling out on his back to sleep right next to you. If you are looking for an affectionate and constant companion, he is your boy!
Being young, he likes to be active and needs an owner that can match his energy level. He loves being outside and would enjoy a forever home with a fenced yard. If you have a doggie door, he will quickly learn that it leads to the great outdoors. He likes to go on walks and would enjoy going on one every day, and he also loves to chase his toys in the yard and house when they are tossed.
Oliver is housebroken, though like any new dog he will need a few weeks of routine and positive reenforcement to learn his new schedule.

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.
If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers. There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
