Sweet Cynda came to us in the nick of time, as she was in kill shelter and scheduled to be euthanized for medical reasons. What was believed by the shelter to be a malignant mammary tumor was in fact an enormous hernia, which has been successfully removed. She does have some small mammary tumors which still need to be removed at a later date with her spay, once she has recovered from her hernia surgery. Cynda is blind, but her foster says that doesn’t slow her down one bit in getting around. As if all this wasn’t enough, Cynda also has severe dental disease and tested heartworm positive. We have started her on the gentle kill heartworm treatment. Cynda is so grateful to be out of the shelter and safe with Eskie Rescuers United. Her foster is IN LOVE and says she is the sweetest, most loving lap dog you could ever hope for. She also has an admiring boyfriend in her foster home, as you can see in her picture. Cynda is sponsorship while she continues to undergo all of her necessary vetting.
