Cody is a friendly, happy, good-natured Eskie. His foster mom is convinced he can sing! He makes lots of vocal sounds to communicate with his humans. Cody is completely housetrained and will sit by the door to let you know he has to go outside. He gets very excited when he sees the leash and will bark because he knows he is about to go outside. Cody loves to go on walks and walks very nicely on a leash. He will bark at dogs he encounters on a walk, but he is learning to greet other dogs politely. Cody gets along with his foster family's dog, but really isn't interested in playing with him, Cody is far more interested in his human care givers. Cody loves to go for a ride in the car. When he sees you with keys, he barks to let you know he wants to go with you. Cody initially showed no interest in the 2 cats he now shares a home with, however, since he has discovered that it is great fun to chase cats, he will do best in a home without cats. Cody was recently treated for HW and a skin infection. The medication for the skin infection discolored his fur, but the affected area seems to be growing out white. Cody will need to be retested in October to make sure he is completely heartworm free.
