Learn more about the American Eskimo Dog.
Frosty is a sweet, loveable boy. He is a little apprehensive at first with strangers, he does warm up though. He is good with cats/dogs, does not really interact much with them, he sniffs, and then walks away. He wants to be with his people all the time, if he doesn't see you he will look for you. He does not do anything when you have to leave him, he will just greet you at the door happy to see you when you come back. When I take him out to the yard he will not stay there if I come back inside, he runs back in dog door. He is housebroken, loves to walk on his leash, and car rides. He does not like the vet, and it is best to warn them that he may snip at them. No bite incidents, he has not bitten them, just snips, but they will muzzle him to be safe. He is on medication for his thyroid, he has hypothyroidism. The dose could change in a few weeks after he is tested again. Other than that he is a wonderful little guy, loves to sleep on the bed with me near my legs, or stretched out next to me. He has had all his vetting, is current on everything, and in good health except for his thyroid. I have no idea how he is with children, I have a child free home. I know he will make someone a great companion, and he deserves a good home with lots of love. His birthdate is 9/13/2009, he just turned 10.
