American Eskimo Dog : : Male (neutered)
Learn more about the American Eskimo Dog.
Joe Joe is a laidback boy who would love to be by your side while you read, watch TV, cook, and do stuff around the garden -though he doesn’t like to be outside for too long because he gets hot. He lets you know when he has had enough. He also likes to go on car rides. Joe Joe arrived to ERU on the chunkier side but has lost 1 collar size since arriving at his foster’s! He can now enjoy going on short walks & walks nicely on a leash. Although he is a typical eskie in that he can be cautious upon first meeting new people, he soon becomes a sweetheart & loves cuddles, massages, ear scratches & sweet talk. Joe Joe is a happy boy in general. He will dance for you to show you his happiness rather than bark. He will dance first thing in the morning when he sees you, for meals & when he knows he’s going for walkies. Joe Joe is not a barky dog, unlike most eskies, but if he hears a siren, he may join in and sing along. Apparently, Joe Joe is both a talented dancer and singer (only if there’s a siren though)! Joe Joe ignores the indoor squawky parrot. He usually ignores the stray cats that come into the yard but sometimes will decide to give them a little chase. He prefers calm dogs or is fine being the only dog. Joe Joe loves doggie beds! He is fine with being brushed. He doesn’t show any interest in jumping on furniture, but that could be because he’s still chunky.
