CODA Located in Manahawkin , New Jersey Neutered Male 4 years Not a big dog in height, but an overweight 65#. This boy would benefit from a regimented diet and exercise plan. Meet Coda! He’s a 4-year-old Pomsky (Pomeranian/Husky mix) who was recently surrendered when his senior owner had to move and sadly couldn’t take him along. Coda is a sweet but shy boy, especially in his kennel. Once he’s out and has a little time to adjust, he starts to warm up. He’s housebroken and knows several commands like sit, shake, down, and come. He’s still working on his leash skills and would benefit from some continued practice in that area. Coda is a picky eater—he was raised on people food and is just now getting used to dog food, which we’ve been slowly introducing. He enjoys toys (especially tennis balls!) and playtime once he feels comfortable. He’s nervous around new people and takes a little time to open up, and he's also afraid of other dogs. Because of this, we believe Coda would do best as the only dog in a calm, structured home where he can settle into a consistent routine. He’s very sweet and has a lot of love to give—he just needs the right environment to help him feel safe and secure.
