Josie was found as a stray in South Georgia and lived at an animal shelter for a few weeks until one of the shelter workers found someone who would save Josie’s life and help find her a forever home. That person has asked us if we can help her find a home for Josie, so we are posting a courtesy listing here in hopes of helping to find Josie a wonderful home. Josie is very sweet and loving. She still loves to play like a puppy too. Her age is estimated at about two years old. She only weighs about 16 lbs, and she is just the right size for someone looking for a small dog, but doesn’t want one that is too fragile like a tiny dog would be. Josie is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm negative and on heartworm preventative. She’s a healthy and happy young girl. And, as an added bonus…….. she is also housebroken! Josie has beautiful big dark eyes and she is a very beautiful cream color. She has incredible grace, speed, and concentration and might even be a great candidate for agility, flyball, or frisbee. Josie would be a great companion for someone that likes to walk or run too. She loves to be outside, but not alone. Josie is a great companion, loves to be touched, and loves being in the company of her person. She loves to snuggle up too. Josie loves to sleep in bed and would probably make a good little watchdog also. She might be too nervous around very small active children, but she would do very well with older children and perhaps a canine friend to run and play with too.
