HI!  My name is Josie.  I got lost and now I need new people to love.  I made a list of the top 10 reasons you should take me home with you.

1.  I am very cute and fluffy.

2.  I am very nice to kitty cats even when they are mean, old, crotchety kitty cats who make growly hissy noises at me.

3. Unlike other dogs who only bark or growl I will also talk to you and tell you many things.

4.  I don't go potty in the house because I am a good girl.

5.  I dance on my hind legs like a circus dog.

6.  Did I mention the cuteness?  I am 25% cuter than the average dog.  That is not bragging it is science.

7.  I am such a good doggie I am all the doggie you will need.  If you have other dogs  I will certainly growl and bark at them and I might sell them on E-bay, or mail them to Slovenia so please save me the postage and let me be an only pup.

8. I can walk on a leash like a pro.

9.  I am very smart, and even thought I don't know what my foster mom means when she says sit and stay and come I am sure I will figure it out really fast.

10.  My foster mom says I am a sweet pumpkin and she would not lie.


Oh and I also give lots and lots of kisses.

Is Not Good with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
