Hi!  I'm Polar.  I had to go live in a shelter when my family moved and could not take me with them.  Even thought I have kinda gotten used to it here and have come to love some of the folks who come to walk me, I am really really sad that I don't have a family of my own.  Let's get real, I am a GOOD BOY!

I am more than a good boy, I am a GREAT boy, I am potty trained, good on leash, and with other dogs, etc. My only 'issue' is I don't like small children to be right in my face, I don't mind all children in other situations.  Actually, they can be a lot of fun! I can be a great boy in your home and love you more than you can imagine!  Please please please take me home with you and be my forever family!

Notes from Animal Rescue Federation:

He was surrendered on June 15th when his owner had to move and couldn't take him with her. He is six-years-old, neutered, and UTD on vaccines. He has no known medical problems. He is fine with dogs but would prefer a no cat home.

He is housetrained, knows basic commands, and enjoys car rides. He also does not bark a lot but will alert to someone at the door. He does not have a known digging or chewing problem. He weighs 28.8 lbs and is a social boy. At our shelter he has received two DHPP vaccines which puts him at good through July 16, 2011. He was also given three doses of dewormer, last one on July 23rd.

At the shelter he is very social and really enjoys going on walks with the volunteers. He also enjoys being groomed. If you have any other questions please let me know. I would love to get this boy out of our shelter and into his forever home!
