Hi, my name is Ivory. I’m a sweet, shy dog that is looking to find my new home where I can love and learn what getting love back is all about! I’m a young girl who has been around the block in my short life…I haven’t had it easy so far. But after I warm up to you, I’m just the sweetest girl you have ever met! My ultimate dream is to find my forever home where I don’t have to be shuffled around anymore. I’m sure you can understand how hard that has been for me. I am kind of nervous around new people but if you give me a few minutes, I’ll warm up to you and be your best friend. I really love other dogs and I actually like cats too! I’m a small girl…you probably noticed that I have some Pomeranian in me too. ’m a beautiful combination of the best of Eskies and Poms! My coat is long and gorgeous and it is white and tan. Oh, and my tail is so gorgeous too! People keep telling me that I’m just a really beautiful girl! My foster mom said that once I warm up with people, I am really good with people of all ages. But the rescue people think it might be best if I wasn’t in a home with small children. You know, small dogs don’t always do so well around small kids! The rescue people like to err on the side of safety and they just don’t want to take any chances with me and small kids. One of my Eskie characteristics is that I bond very well with my people so you can expect me to stick to you like glue! J My foster mom said that I am mostly housetrained…unless you leave me for 8 hours with no way outside – then I could have an accident. But I am crate trained and do really well being in my crate for a while if you are gone. I love toys and I really love my Kong! If you give me toys to play with, I will be entertained for hours!
