Hello!  My name is Cooper and I am a beautiful boy looking for my new family.  As you can see from my photo, I’m quite the stunning Eskie!    My current foster family had me groomed and I look so handsome now…and I am really attracting stares from the ladies!  J

I am a really happy boy who is ready to get totally bonded to my new family.  I hope they like games ‘cause I LOVE them!  I love to play with toys and stuff.  Sometimes I have gotten myself into trouble by playing with shoes and some human things, but it’s only because no one has told me yet that I shouldn’t be playing with those things.  I just need a little instruction, but I catch on fast and will learn so quickly!

What I really want is someone who is ready for me to love them and give them lots of Eskies kisses and love!!  I am really good with people and older kids too.  I haven’t been around really small children before, so the nice rescue people aren’t sure exactly how I will do with small kids.  I would probably do okay, but since I haven’t been around them before, they just want to be a little cautious.  I get along great with other dogs – they are fun playmates!  I also do fine with cats…I don’t have a lot of interest in them though, so I mostly ignore them.

I am housebroken, so you won’t have problems with me there!  I also love car rides, so you can take me with you when you go places…how fun!  I’m good in a crate if you need to leave me there while you leave for a while.  But I’m a really happy and well behaved boy, so you won’t have too much to worry about!  I am really looking forward to some fun training with my new family.  That will teach me good manners and maybe even some tricks!  But I want to do that with my new family so we can bond together!  I’m okay on a leash, but since I haven’t been on one too often, I do tend to pull.  Hey, I’m not perfect yet…I just need some time!

I hope you will consider letting me come live with you and be your loving companion!   I’m really excited to find my new family so I can give them so much love!!  I am currently in Omaha, NE, but the nice rescue people can help me get to you if you aren’t very near to me.  If you have questions about me, contact Chris at chrisb@eskierescuers.org.  I really hope to hear from you soon!

Love, Cooper

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.

Eskie Rescuers United American Eskimo Dog Rescue, Inc. is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Please click the donation button below to make a tax-deductible donation through PayPal and help make a difference to even one American Eskimo dog!
