Hi, my name is Tasha and I am looking for my new permanent home.  I am a super sweet little girl that loves people and just want to be loved and taken care of.   I am a little shy when meeting people I don’t know, but I warm up pretty quickly.  But I am just the sweetest thing you could imagine.  I really hope to find a home with a person that will totally love me and teach me fun tricks and take me for walks!  Doesn’t that sound great!??!?!?

I get along great with other dogs and I really enjoy having another dog to play with.  I would be okay being the only dog, but I sure would like to have a doggie friend!  I have always had another dog to play with so it would be really nice.  I have been around kids and done really well, although the nice rescue people think it would be best if I found a home without any really small kids.  Since I get kind of nervous at first, it would be best to make sure I don’t get “too” nervous around a very small child.   

I a housetrained, so you don’t have to worry about that part!  I am very well behaved but could still use some basic command training to help me in my new home.  I love to play too!  But my favorite thing is to have my belly rubbed!  Oh, there’s nothing better in life than a good belly rub!!

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
