I'm Phoebe and I just got into a rescue!  Talk about good luck!  I was at a shelter in North Carolina and I got adopted.  I thought that was great....but....my new family thought I was too hyper.  So back to the shelter.  Then another family adopted me but their kids had no idea how to handle a sweet girl like me.  So back to the shelter again.  That was getting a little old.  I tried both times but I think sometimes people get animals and have no clue what to expect.  I think, and I know what I'm talking about, that people should research the breed they are thinking about before taking one home.  It would save a lot of lives....we wouldn't wind up in shelters so much.  I keep thinking about my shelter mates, that I left behind, and I wonder if they will ever make it out alive.

Anyway,  I'm very thankful for my new foster Mom and foster Brother.  They have a couple of those cats....and while I'm fine with them....I'm not quite as thankful for them.  My new Mom says I am not hyper and that I'm fine with my new Brother.  I like kids.  I like to play.

Mom says I'm a little lacking in the housebreaking department but she's working on that with me.  She understands that I've been passed around so much that I never really got a chance to totally learn house manners.  I learn fast though.

I'm a really pretty girl.  I'm not conceited...just truthful.  Won't you give me a chance?
