Howdy Folks

My name is JENKO and do I have a story to tell.~~~Tissue Alert~~~~~

I am the big brother of the “Ocala-9” rescued by ERU angels from a vacant home. 

We found ourselves left alone for 2 months when our human became very ill, divorcing and our home was in foreclosure.  Occasionally someone would stop by and throw us some food, but not let us outside! 

Lucky ME..I am now with a great foster family with a beautiful huge lawn.  They cannot believe how grateful and friendly I am.  

I have a SILLY side….I never had a blankie  of my very own so I found a empty plastic soda bottle one day and now a soda bottle (no diet soda Please) is my security blanket. 

Went to a great Vet so I am up to date on all my vaccinations, neutered ..boy was that a long day! Best of all I had a bubble bath, blow dry and brushing!!!!  LOOK  at me now!!!!

Good with Dogs, Good with Kids

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
