I lived my whole life as an only dog with my mommy. When she went to heaven, her family didn't think they could give me the lifestyle I needed. I have been shaved, but when my coat grows back, you can see in my pictures how luxurious it is. I love to eat, but really should be on a diet. After meals, I will do my happy dance that will make you laugh. I am housetrained, really prefer to go outside on a leash with a person. Apparently, I don't like cats and there is a rumor that I am a little nervous for the first few minutes around strangers, but my foster family hasn't seen that yet. I was nice to them from the very beginning. But, I have been a little snappy when I see strangers on my walks. Not everyone, but my foster family hasn't figured out what makes me nervous about some people. Right now, I have two foster sisters and we get along just fine, but I really want to be the only dog because I want all of the people attention.  I don't seem to have a lot of experience with toys, but I do love sitting in laps and being pet a lot. Good with Dogs, Not Good with Cats, Is Not Good with Kids

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
