Hi everyone!  My name is Cyrus, as in Cyrus the Great.  I just arrived in MD last night (5/4) but my foster mommy is in love with me already.  You see, I have that effect on people.  I am such a sweet eskie boy, a gentle soul, good with other dogs, I walk well on a leash, and I love to go on rides.  I am skittish when I hear noises or with fast movements so I would do best in a home without young children or too much commotion.  I just want to be by your side, loving you, and receiving love from you. I am a very special eskie boy and I know there is a very special family out there looking for me.  If that's you please contact my foster mommy Heidi at hortmeye@gmail.com

Update (5/10):  I had my teeth cleaned, a basic blood chemistry profile and complete blood count and everything looks good!

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
