Max is living in Mansfield, CT

Max is a real sweetheart! He loves attention and to be a part of whatever you are doing without being a pest! He loves the outdoors and walks fairly well on a leash. Max loves to be petted and looks for attention, but he is not too keen on being picked up. He loves to ride in a car. He knows his name and comes when he's called. Max is completely housetrained and asks to go out when nature calls. He has learned how to sit in a very short time and is eager to learn new tricks for any tasty treat you might have. Max is fine with children and other dogs though he would really prefer to be the only object of affection! No cats please...Max prefers the canine persuasion.
Max has had a recent vet visit and got a clean bill of health! He is ready and waiting for his furever home....enough bouncing around! Max is loyal and will thrive when he has stability. He has lots of love to give and not shy about giving it. He will do best as the only pet because he loves attention and praise. Please consider giving Max a furever home...he's waiting!

Good with Dogs, Not Good with Cats, Good with Kids

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.

Eskie Rescuers United American Eskimo Dog Rescue, Inc. is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Please click the donation button below to make a tax-deductible donation through PayPal and help make a difference to even one American Eskimo dog!
