Hi, my name is Mya! I'm a 2-year old toy American Eskimo girl who weighs all of 9 pounds! I'm very petite and VERY sweet! The pictures of me are current as of November, though the camera imprinted an old date on my pictures (and my foster mommy can't figure out how to crop out that date without cropping out the bottom half of me at the same time!). I'm spayed, current on all my vaccinations, heartworm negative and on heartworm prevention. I'm mostly housebroken, but I still have an accident now and then, so please be patient with me and I promise I will become the perfect little girl for you! :o) I am crate-trained, but I really prefer to be right by your side you as much as possible, to give you all the love and affection I can! I do extremely well with cats and other doggies, and am okay with children. I'm leash trained, as long as I'm wearing my harness (I'm so small I might slip right out of my collar). My foster mommy says someone is going to scoop me up very quickly-will that someone be you? Wouldn't you love to have me in your life so I can show you how sweet I really am? I can't wait to be in my new forever home so I can be spoiled like a little princess! If you're interested in me, we can do what's called an "Eskie Railroad" if I'm not local to you. This is a group of volunteer drivers who will each drive a certain distance to get me to you! I'm in Belle Chasse with my foster mommy, Liz. If you would like to know more about me, please send an e-mail right away! Please contact Liz at: liz@eskierescuersunited.org for more information on me! You can also go to our web site at: www.eskierescuersunited.org and fill out an adoption application for me! Thank you and WOOF! Mya!
Eskie Rescuers United
|
Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.
If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.
There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
