Hi, my name is Prescott! I'm a 5-year old standard-sized American Eskimo boy who stands at least 16 inches tall and weighs 27 pounds. I had a leg injury that was never treated, but a thorough evaluation by a nice vet determined that generally I'm not in pain, though I take a little while to get comfortable when I go to sit or lie down. I get around just fine, but I don't care much for stairs (they seem to present a bit of a physical challenge to me). However, I can jump and run and play without problem.

I'm neutered, current on all my vaccinations, heartworm negative and on heartworm prevention. I'm also housebroken, so I won't make any messes in your house! I'm a happy, well-adjusted and very friendly guy-my foster mommy says I'm just a sweet lovable bear! :o)

I get along well with other dogs, cats (which I won't even chase!) and older children. (I tolerate, and sometimes even play with my foster mommy's puppy, Thor.) I love everyone at my foster home-humans as well as the other furballs here-and thrive on all the attention they give me! I LOVE to go for walks and play ball, and I'll let you pet me and give me belly rubs all day long! I'm a real upbeat boy who has LOTS of love to give to a very special someone-will that someone be you? Wouldn't you love to have me in your home and give me a chance at a wonderful life? I can't wait to show you just how sweet and adorable I am!

If you're interested in me, we can do what's called an "Eskie Railroad" if I'm not local to you. This is a group of volunteer drivers who will each drive a certain distance to get me to you!
