Learn more about the American Eskimo Dog.
Hi, my name is Rudy! I'm a 4-year old miniature American Eskimo boy who stands 15 inches tall and weighs 20 pounds. I'm neutered, current on all my vaccinations, heartworm negative and on heartworm prevention. I'm also housebroken and crate-trained. I'm great with other dogs and with children of all ages. I don't like cats very much though, so it would be better if I were in a home without kitties. I'm a smart, playful and fun-loving little guy who also loves to snuggle with you, sit right next to you and lay my head on your leg! And I just LOVE my belly rubs! :o) My foster mommy says someone is going to scoop me up very quickly-will that someone be you? I know I'm waiting for my new forever family. Wouldn't you love to have me in your home and give me a chance at a wonderful life? If you're interested in me, we can do what's called an "Eskie Railroad" if I'm not local to you. This is a group of volunteer drivers who will each drive a certain distance to get me to you! I'm in Wilmington, DE with my foster mommy, Kim. If you would like to know more about me, please send an e-mail right away! Please contact Liz at: liz@eskierescuers.org for more information on me! You can also go to our web site at: www.eskierescuers.org and fill out an adoption application for me! Thank you and WOOF! Rudy!
Eskie Rescuers United
|
Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.
If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.
There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
