Oh, pardonnez-moi, forgive me, I forgot where I was. Hello, my name is La Femme Nikita, but you may call me Nikki! I am new to rescue, so please forgive my innocence. I am on a journey to find my new home. I belonged to a family once, but I did not get along with one of the other dogs in my home. In fact, my family loved both of us so much that they knew I would have a better chance of finding a new home than the other dog. I am current on all my shots, heartworm negative and on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. I was recently spayed, so I'm ready for my forever home!! My foster mommy says I'm such a little cutie- a snuggler, too. I'm very sweet and oh, so quiet!! She says I'm such a good girl that she hasn't heard me bark once! Now, how can you beat that? I get along with kids older than 8 (anyone younger than that makes me nervous) and dogs that are my size or smaller. But I really don't like big dogs- my last roommate was a large lab mix and she really didn't like me. I had to be taken to the emergancy vet several times because we fought all the time. So I'd rather not be around large dogs. My family really didn't want to give me up, but for my own safety, I needed to find a new home. So if you have older kids, no cats and maybe a small dog, then I'm your girl!! I even know my own birthdate- how cool is that? Now don't wait too long, I'm going to get scooped up quickly. Who can say no to this little face, huh? So enough about me, tell me about you!! Go on, send in that application- I triple-dog dare ya!! If you're interested in me and would like more information, please contact Deborah at: eskierescuer@aol.com. You can also click here to fill out an adoption application for me. Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state. To get me to you, we can do what's called an "Eskie Railroad," which is a group of volunteer drivers who will each drive a certain portion of the transport. (We always ask that you, as the adopter, help out by taking the final leg.) If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on us, you may have to make special arrangements so ERU can get us to you safely (for example, flying us to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive us to you). There is a $150 adoption fee required, and please be aware that Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs. Thank you and WOOF! and#9829;Nikkiand#9829;
