Hi there, I'm Levi Strauss. I'm such a special little guy that I have a first and last name. My foster mommy says I'm a very sweet little fella. I am a mini who weighs 17 lbs and is about 5 yrs old, I think. I'm not really sure. I don't pay much attention to other dogs or cats, I'm more interested in people.

I did get to meet a bunch of people recently and my foster mommy says I was a perfect little gentleman- I even have manners!! Now not everyone can say that, can they? I especially like men and I LOVE being active outdoors. My foster mommy takes me cross-country skiing!

While I'm small and cute, please know- I DO NOT LIKE CHILDREN. So please, if you have kids of any age, apply for another Eskie. While I'm sure your kids have wonderful manners around dogs and cats, I really prefer not to be around any. I have a few quirks that would not be appropriate around children. I must have been tormented by them when I was a puppy. Sorry, can't help it. But I sure would love YOU if you gave me a chance!

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats, Is Not Good with Kids

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
