Hello, my name is Dizzy! I'm a 5-year old miniature-sized American Eskimo male who weighs 17 pounds. I'm pure white and very handsome--just take a look at my pictures and see if you don't agree! My foster mommy gave me my name because I run around in circles and make her dizzy watching me! Hehee! I'm neutered, current on all my vaccinations, heartworm negative and on heartworm, flea and tick prevention. I'm also housebroken and crate-trained, and I do fine on a leash, but I need you to show me how to behave more like a gentleman when I go out walking with you. I like riding in the car, and I don't even get sick! I do great with other dogs and am not the alpha type at all--in fact, I'm much more of a lover! :o) I back down from fights with my Eskie foster brothers and sisters. (That 10-pound squirt who lives here pushes me around, but I just walk away, because I'm not looking for any trouble!) I'm also fine with cats, and I love sitting and watching the fishies in the big fish tank--it's so soothing! I really like being in bed with you and cuddling--the closer to you the better! I like men just fine, but I am definitely a ladies man! I'm such a gentle soul that all I want to do is please you and be around you all the time. Though I can be hyper at times, I much prefer to be sitting in your lap, giving you sweet little kisses on your nose! I'm a very gentle, loving and affectionate little boy who is looking for my new forever home. Wouldn't you love to take me into your home and give me a chance at a wonderful life? If you're interested in me, we can do what's called an "Eskie Railroad" if I'm not local to you. This is a group of volunteer drivers who will each drive a certain distance to get me to you! I'm in Simpsonville, SC with my foster mommy and daddy, Leah and Greg! For more information on me, please contact Leah at: leah@eskierescuersunited.org. You can also go to our web site at: www.eskierescuersunited.org and fill out an adoption application for me! There is an adoption fee required to adopt me. Also, please be aware that Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out our fosters as outdoor dogs. Thank you and WOOF! Dizzy!
Eskie Rescuers United
|
Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.
If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.
There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
