Learn more about the American Eskimo Dog.
Hello, my name is Jack! I'm a 6-year old small standard-sized American Eskimo male who weighs 25 pounds. I'm just as cute and adorable as can be-just look at my pictures and see if you don't agree! :o) I'm neutered, current on all my vaccinations, heartworm negative and on heartworm prevention, as well as on flea and tick prevention. I'm housebroken and kennel-trained too, and I like to go for car rides and on long walks with you. I am great with other dogs and cats too, but I especially adore my humans and always want to be with you. I love being in your lap (yes, I think I'm a lap dog!) and cuddling with you on the bed and getting lots of attention! I love my treats and, most of all, getting petted, hugged and kissed. We not sure how I would be with young kids, but older ones would be lots of fun to play with! I'm a terrific boy who deserves a new chance at life. I'm wishing SO hard for my very own family who will love me and really cherish me. I've had a hard life up till now, so it's time for me to be spoiled, pampered and doted on! I'm a very sweet boy, and I promise to be your new best friend and always be here for you! Won't you give me a chance at a wonderful new life with you? If you're interested in me, we can do what's called an "Eskie Railroad" if I'm not local to you. This is a group of volunteer drivers who will each drive a certain distance to get me to you! I'm in Simpsonville, SC with my foster mommy and daddy, Leah and Greg. For more information on me, please contact Leah at: leah@eskierescuersunited.org. You can also go to our web site at: www.eskierescuersunited.org and fill out an adoption application for me! There is an adoption fee required to adopt me. Also, please be aware that Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out our fosters as outdoor dogs. Thank you and WOOF! Jack!
Eskie Rescuers United
|
Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.
If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.
There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
