Let me introduce myself -- my name is MYSTERY. My foster mom says everyone loves a good MYSTERY and that's how I came by my name! But after keeping me about a week we discovered another mystery Now -- about me... I have a left knee cap that pops in and out of place but that's not all -- I have a broken right back leg. I don't have a leg to stand on... LOL! That was a total MYSTERY to my dog doctor. Anyway I'm being mended on July 20th and will soon be good as new. As bad as I have had to feel, I am the happiest, most loving fellow you would ever want to meet. I go up and down stairs by myself -- no help for me because I'm independent. When I play with my foster brothers and sisters I lay on the floor so no one can hurt my back legs. I can't wait to start playing like a regular dog again! I get along fine with all my siblings and there are a lot of them! I have an absolutely beautiful coat but it had to be partly sheared down because of all the matting I had coming into foster care. Let me assure you that it is coming back in quickly and maybe even more beautiful. I love kids (my foster mom has an 8-year old granddaughter), and we warmed-up to each other quickly. I love to run in the yard with her but sometimes she has to wait for me -- she doesn't mind though. I'm not a barker. I'm one of those dogs that people just love being around because I love being around them so much. I don't demand constant attention, however I would never, never, never turn down lots of belly rubs and ear scratches (wink, wink)! I know the "sit" and "come" commands and I'm willing to learn lots more to make a special family happy. I'm one of the bestest dogs in the world -- I'm getting my legs fixed... now all I need is a loving family to give me a forever home. Can you help me out with that dream? Remember everyone loves a good MYSTERY and that's certainly me! If you're interested in me and would like more information, please contact my foster mommy Jane at: matt7731@bellsouth.net. You can also click here to fill out an adoption application for me. Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state. To get me to you, we can do what's called an "Eskie Railroad," which is a group of volunteer drivers who will each drive a certain portion of the transport. (We always ask that you, as the adopter, help out by taking the final leg.) If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you may have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). There is a $150 adoption fee required, and please be aware that Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs. Looking for Love... and#9829;Mysteryand#9829;
