About Nimbus

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • Rescue ID: 05-179
  • Housetrained: Yes
Okay, everyone, who wants the best dog in the world? That would have to be me...NIMBUS! I'm your dog! Forget the rest and adopt the best! Now, I'm not bragging or anything, but I'm the total package! I may not be quite as white as most Eskies, and I'm a mix (though it's hard to tell from my pictures), but hey, I've got everything else you'll ever need! Who wants all that white dog hair on the furniture anyway?

I'm an 18-month old small standard-sized mostly American Eskimo male who weighs 22 pounds. I'm neutered, current on all my vaccinations, heartworm negative and on heartworm, flea and tick medication. I'm also housebroken and crate-trained. I even know basic commands, though sometimes I act like I don't understand.

I absolutely ADORE children--I'll play with them all day long! I get along well with other dogs and I show no alpha tendencies. I am completely non-aggressive and probably have never met a stranger! I'm playful and lovable! I also like to watch TV on the couch with you, but you'll probably need to adjust the volume to hear it. My foster mommy says I snore--yeah, right! I will sleep in bed with you if you want me to, and man, what a great snuggler I am! My foster mommy's granddaughter loves for me to sleep with her. (I'm not above licking her toes in the morning if she sleeps too late, however! HeHe!)

I'm just a happy-go-lucky kind of guy who really needs my very own forever family! I just can't figure out why I don't have one. PLEASE adopt me, NIMBUS, the best of the best! Love you! Kisses on your nose from NIMBUS!

If you're interested in me and would like more information, please contact Allen at: allen@eskierescuersunited.org. Better yet, you can go to our web site at: www.eskierescuersunited.org and fill out an adoption application for me.

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered in North Carolina). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

To get me to you, we can do what's called an "Eskie Railroad," which is a group of volunteer drivers who will each drive a certain portion of the transport. (We always ask that you, as the adopter, help out by taking the final leg.) If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you may have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you).

There is a $150 adoption fee required, and please be aware that Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
