My foster mommy says I'm a very pretty boy, but such a big goofball! :o) I love being outside where I can run around and roll in the mud. What great fun! I enjoy barking at thunder and--in typical Eskie fashion--at lots of other things as well! I strut around my foster home like I'm king of the place, so I can impress all the females around here! I like playing with my toys, especially the ones with ropes in them. I'm really a fun-loving kind of guy, but I also love to be petted and fussed over and spoiled in general. (Just give me a piece of chicken breast and I'll be yours forever!) My foster mommy hasn't had me for very long, so she's still getting to know me. As she finds out more about me, she'll report anything new you should know about me. She does say I should be kept crated when no one is around to keep an eye on me (and I don't mind being in my crate). She also says my new home should not have kids--at least not unless they're older and know how to act around an active, alpha guy like myself. In fact, my new owners will need to let me know who's really the boss around the house, though you need to do that in a firm but non-abusive manner. Then we'll get along just fine! So if you're looking for a happy, healthy, active Eskie boy to share your life with, then look no further, because I'm your guy! If you're interested in me and would like more information, please contact Judy at: judy@eskierescuersunited.org. You can also click here to fill out an adoption application for me. Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state. To get me to you, we can do what's called an "Eskie Railroad," which is a group of volunteer drivers who will each drive a certain portion of the transport. (We always ask that you, as the adopter, help out by taking the final leg.) If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you may have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). There is a $150 adoption fee for me, and please be aware that Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs. Thank you and WOOF! Weezer
