Hello, my name is Allie. I spent a few weeks in a Tennessee animal shelter before Eskie Rescuers saved me from an early fate. My previous owners surrendered me after they concluded they couldn’t take care of me anymore. So a bunch of nice volunteers transported me all the way to my new foster home in Parma, Ohio, where my foster mom & sibling simply adore & love me. My foster mom says I’m just the cutiest little girl. Being part Eskie & Corgi, I have these short little legs. But boy am I fast. I'm a little skittish around people I don't know, but once I get to know you I'm your best friend! I’m really sweet and gentle, too. I have a lot of room to run at my foster mom's home. She has a big fenced in backyard. I really, really like taking walks and I'm pretty well behaved on the leash. (I also love being brushed!!) I love the outdoors, but I like to be inside the house a lot, too. I'm housetrained and crate trained, and I know how to sit, and stay (sometimes), but you have to keep me on a leash or I'll run off! My foster mom is trying to teach me some more commands, too. Sure hope you'll adopt me soon so my foster mom can have more room to rescue another Eskie in need! I'll be your best friend and give you many years of love and companionship! --Allie More about AllieGood with Dogs, Not Good with Cats, Is Not Good with Kids Allie's companion, Cyrus of MD (adopted) can also be seen on our website.
Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state. |
