Toby is an energentic, beautiful boy. He was an only dog, and would still be happy as one. He may be also ok with another dog as he wants to play with mine. Sometimes he likes to sleep with you, and other times he also likes the cool tile floor. He loves saying good morning with a snuggle and hugs before you get up. He is quite the player and loves playing with you and his toys. He still has a lot of puppy in him and loves attention. He's really good at keeping his teeth clean, just hold his chew and he just cleans them up. It's on one of the video's. He also is very brave and will protect you from the scary stuff growing in your garden. He so wants a person of his own to love. His walking on a leash where there is moving vehicles or scary distractions needs lots of work, so a nice yard with a fence would be important for him until he gets better! We got a trainer to help, but it took a long time to get this afraid. So if you're a walker, he may not be the dog for you. Unless you have a peaceful area to walk, then he's great on a leash. He's adorable, a snuggler and great at puppy kisses. He is a dog who attaches quickly. He would love a special home with someone who has patience and can show him the world isn't so scary. He loves to do tricks for you! He knows a bunch. I think the hula hoop jump is his favorite! He also loves the clicker and treats! And you will never go to the bathroom along again!

Is Not Good with Kids

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
