UPDATE 1/10/16 - DIXIE HAS AN ADOPTION PENDING

Hi everyone I'm Dixie!  My foster daddy says I'm a little ball of love!!! I want to follow him EVERYWHERE and always be as close as possible, if not touching!  I was part of an unfortunate hoarding situation which had caused me to lose all my fur but it's rapidly growing back to all it's Eskie glory and looks great!!!  I can be a little shy and vocal of new people entering our house so I might take a minute to warm up to people before making friends but once I do I'm all love!  My favorite hobbies are cuddling on the couch sleeping on laps, going for walks around the neighborhood (everyone who see's me says I prance around), and frolicking around the backyard.  Now I just need my forever home to spread out in!  Will you be my forever home for the new year?

Good with Dogs, Not Good with Cats, Good with Kids

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
