Hi my name is Patsy and I am an 8 year old who lived in Indiana until my owners turned me into a shelter. I was at great risk of being euthanized as owner surrenders, especially a bit older, have little chance of getting adopted. Eskie Rescuers committed to me thanks to my wonderful foster family offering me a home. My foster Mom says I have a lot of courage and am extremely well behaved lady. The fuss that normally occurs when a new dog is brought in did not upset me in the slightest. Loud noises and confusion also go over me like a wave on the sand. I have impressed my foster Mom by my ability to accept what is around me no matter what it is. I am receptive to meeting new people and do not hesitate to go up and greet them. In otherwords no fear of strangers. I can blend with any new family without problems regardless of how many people there are or how many other animals are around. I would be excellent with small children because I am so gentle as well as older people who can appreciate I have passed the need to run and scamper. I behave with dignity and self assurance and love all affection sent my way. I do not give away kisses easily but maybe in time you can persuade me to. The one word that my foster Mom uses to describe me is sweet but does not quite capture the gentleness I display and the great ability of acceptance I have. If I were a movie star my foster Mom would liken me to Katherine Hepburn. My foster Mom says I deserve a home where I will be treated as a the movie star she knows I am and am a one in a million dog who deserves better than being thrown away. I am heartworm free, have had all of my shots and vaccinations and am spayed. I weigh 19 pounds and am a small Eskie. I also have two small circles of brindle coloring on my back. The spots look like a small button, one to go and one to stop. My Foster Mom tried them but they did not work. She is a silly one isn’t she? My eyes are enormous for my size and I use them to absorb all the detail around me. I am house trained and so want to be your new family member.
