*** New Brighton, PA (near Pittsburgh)***:
Teddy and his brother Matty were bought by a couple in their late 60s. The couple quickly realized that they couldn't handle 2 eskimo puppies and they contacted ERU for help rehoming them. Teddy is a really sweet boy! He is the more dominant one. He tries to make friends with the other dogs here but I have a lot of seniors that aren't thrilled to have puppies jumping all over them! Both boys will be staying in rescue at least until they can be fixed at 4 months old. Eskimo puppies can be quite a handful and most eskies will stay puppy like for years! Eskimo dogs tend to be very smart and if they are not given enough to keep them busy, they can develop destructive behavior. They will need lots of training and socialization to become the great dogs I know they can be. Please take this into consideration before applying to adopt.
