UPDATE March 8, 2016 - ADOPTION PENDING ON JETT

UPDATE March 1, 2016 - Jett required FHO (hip) surgery on his left hip on February 22.  He is recovering beautifully, but still needs about 4 more weeks of recovery before he will be ready to be adopted.  Please submit an application if you are intereested in him, but be aware he will not be ready to go to a new home until sometime in April.

Jett is a sweet, playful dog. This miniature eskie boy is happy to meet people and gets along with other dogs. He is just as happy relaxing with you and cuddling as he is playing chase with other dogs. Although the shelter estimates he is 4 years old, he is as happy and perky as a 2 year old!

He walks fine on a leash and enjoys riding in the car. We don’t know a lot about him yet because before he came to ERU, he was picked up as a stray in Georgia. So far, we know he likes belly rubs, head scratches, French fries and being carried. He is definitely a companion dog who likes to be wherever you are and will run faster than the speed of light to you if you call him.

Jett is located in Miami, Fl. If interested in adopting Jett, please fill out an application at www.eskierescuers.org

Please direct any questions about Jett to Dyan at dyan@eskierescuers.org

Good with Dogs

Special Needs: Jett had FHO (hip) surgery in January 2016. It is possible, in the future, he MAY require surgery to his other hip or to his knees. At the moment, this is not necessary. Weight management and a good joint supplement is recommended.

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.

Eskie Rescuers United American Eskimo Dog Rescue, Inc. is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Please click the donation button below to make a tax-deductible donation through PayPal and help make a difference to even one American Eskimo dog!
