UPDATE 8/27/16 - ADOPTION PENDING ON YOSHI Yoshi came to us from Denver, where he didn’t do well with the family’s son because Yoshi doesn’t like to be petted while he’s eating. A perfect home for Yoshi would be one without younger children. He likes other adult dogs (but doesn’t care for puppies that don’t understand they need to respect his personal space, especially while he’s eating). He relaxes with the other adult dogs in his foster family’s home and even likes to play tag with them. Yoshi loves to go for walks. If you show him a leash, he will sit quietly so that you can put it on him easily. He is a gentle walker and doesn’t pull at all. He also takes treats gently from your hand. Yoshi will go into a crate willingly although he mostly has the run of house at his foster family’s because he is a good boy. Yoshi ignores the outside cat and parrot. His hair was shaved down at the shelter and he still needs to put just a little bit of weight on his 20lb frame, but he’s still a handsome boy. Cars slow down to look at him when he goes for walks in the neighborhood. Yoshi is located in Miami, Fl. If interested in adopting Yoshi, please fill out an application at www.eskierescuers.org Please direct any questions about Yoshi to dyan@eskierescuers.org
