Meet Eddie! Eddie is a very gentle, laid back boy and he would make a wonderful companion dog for the right person. He likes to go on walks and is good on a leash - he's quite sure with an every day walk, he could get VERY good on a leash! Eddie is a little wary and reserved and it does take him some time to warm up to you, but once he does, he adores you and is very loyal. Eddie loves attention and to loves be petted, but he is not really a cuddler nor does he particularly enjoy being picked up. He does not jump up on any furniture and prefers to lay on the floor next to you. Right next to you. At all times. Eddie gets along with other dogs, but does not like assertive male dogs or younger dogs that get in his face. Actually, he is quite smitten with females dogs! We recommend a home where he could be an only dog or have the company of an older adult female dog. He is particularly attached to his male foster and would enjoy a home with a male owner or husband/wife couple. We do not recommend that his forever home have any kids, as their high energy and activity level would be too much commotion for Eddie.
