Hi! My name is Emmy and unfortunately I had to come back to ERU because my owner passed away. My owner's brother loves me a lot but he works on an airplane and travels too much to have a dog. I was really upset at first but now I've learned to relax a bit and have fun! My favorite thing to do is go for a walk. I also really love chasing my squeaky tennis ball. Foster Mom is on the computer a lot and I'm happy to lay under her chair until it's play time. I'm really good at commands and will sit and stay, even when Foster Mom turns her back and walks away! I even go into a crate when told. I gained a lot of weight so Foster Mom put me on a diet. I'm ok with that because she says I'll feel real good after I drop a few pounds! I get along with the dogs here. I like to play with them as long as they're not too rough. I'm prefer if new people don't approach me at first. I will let people know when I'm comfortable enough to come up to them. Foster Mom says I'm a real sweet girl that makes her laugh all the time.

Good with Dogs
Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.
If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers. There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
