My name is Cherrielee and I like it! I came from a shelter in Ohio and the person who originally pulled me kept me isolated because they were concerned about Parvo.

I spent two weeks with them and never showed any signs but ERU had the Parvo test done to make sure and it was Negative!

I am a cautious girl, just trying to figure out if I am amongst people who will care for me and so far it is looking pretty good.

When I first arrived at my new foster home I made a couple messes in the house but I am now house-trained! I tell you though this cold weather hardly makes it easy for a girl to go outside and lift up her skirts to pee!

I am up to date on my shots and going in to be spayed soon.

I look for a family that will give me some time to feel safe and who will spend some quality time training me so I know how to behave like a lady. I am a fast learner and will be a wonderful Eskie addition to your family.

Oh yea, the picture does not show my true beauty but foster mom has not gotten to open her Christmas present yet which is a new camera. I wonder how she knows that?

Good with Dogs

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.

Eskie Rescuers United American Eskimo Dog Rescue, Inc. is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Please click the donation button below to make a tax-deductible donation through PayPal and help make a difference to even one American Eskimo dog!
