Jette came into Eskie Rescuers when his family fell upon hard times.
Well, fabulous Jette has gotten used to the good life very quickly! He enjoys his spa treatments (getting massaged & brushed). He looks forward to treat time every day. He is a polite dog, so he knows that treats aren’t free. For a piece of chicken or cold cut (no carrots, please!), Jette will sit politely or do another command like “down” or “paw” for you. He is such a gentleman that he patiently waits his turn with his foster family’s dogs for treats.
Even though Jette isn't quite 5 years old, he is more of a laid back boy. He would rather relax by your side on your sofa than run a marathon with you. In fact, his ideal home would be one in which he could follow his owner around to enjoy each other’s company. If you want to sit at your desk, that’s no problem for Jette. He wants to sit next to you. If you want to pick up food at a drive through, he would LOVE to accompany you!
Jette has let his foster family know that he doesn’t like it when they hug or exchange items with each other (a cup, phone, etc), BUT he is practicing sitting politely when these things occur and has made huge progress in just a few days. He loves everyone he has met at his foster family’s and is very affectionate.
Although Jette gets along well with other dogs, he is happiest with humans. He ignores the stray cats that come into the yard. Jette is potty trained and is happy going outside or using a wee wee pad. An ideal home for Jette is one where he will have a lot of human companionship from an owner who will remind him of his manners.
