I am so happy to be with a family and out of that shelter! My foster family has been great to me and I am so eager to please. I love to cuddle with them every chance I get.

I am already housetrained. I do not bark and when some small children visited recently I showed my foster family how gently I could take treats from the little ones.

I get along with the other dogs but they are older and my energy level is sometimes too much for them. I am kennel trained and know it to be my safe space.

I am recently neutered and have all my shots. My foster family also micro-chipped me as they do not want me to be at risk of being lost ever again. They do not know how I ended up in a shelter and no one came to look for me!

I am about 2.5 years old and my name is Oscar. I hope there is a family out there that will treasure and protect me furever. I will certainly do that for you!

Good with Dogs, Good with Kids

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
