Meet Callie of Palm Bay, FL

What a great girl Callie is!  She is an Eskie mix, we think mixed with some terrier, is 12 years old and weighs a petite 16 pounds.  Callie has a wonderful temperament.  She is good natured, very playful, and a sweet girl.  She is good with other dogs, likes cats and loves all people.  She is house trained and uses a doggy door in her foster home.

Callie is a nice size, walks very well on a leash and has the perfect companion temperament for an older person/couple.  She is also ideal for an apartment dweller, as she doesn’t bark!!......must be the terrier in her as we all know how much Eskies like to hear themselves talk.  

She is a senior and if you are a senior (over 60 years) and don't hold her age against her, she qualifies for our Seniors for Seniors adoption program and 50% adoption discount.

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids

Special Needs: On Proin (25 mg) for minor urine leakage, vet believes due to spay incontinence.

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
