My name is Molly and I am so grateful to be rescued by ERU. I have spent quite a number of years in a kennel with very little care or exercise. My feet are so stained by the urnine and feces I stood in it looks like I am wearing booties!

ERU contacted the shelter just minutes before they were going to PTS me! My rescue person picked me up on her way home from seeing her parents.

My foster mom took me home and gave me a bath....well several baths but my fur still has a tan hue to it from all the urine I layed in. The first cup of water she poored over me sent fumes in the air that almost made her pass out! I was so happy to have the bath I just stood there while she scrubbed and cut out poo from my fur. When she saw I was panting and did not want to stress me anymore she wrapped me in towels warmed in the dryer and held me while she dried me off.

Then for a long time she gently brushed snarls from my coat...which I just loved. My coat is soft and full and not Eskie white but hope to someday get that back.

My teeth are in horrible shape and I will be going in for a cleaning and may loose most of them. There is also a tumor in my upper gums just under my nose but the vet says trying to remove it would be more damaging then just letting it be.

I love people and did really well being introduced to all my foster Mom's dogs. I was fascinated with her big black Lab.

I am up to date on all my shots and HW negative. I would love a home where I could be loved and pampered in my senior years. I have a little stiffness in my back end but foster Mom has already started me on a supplement that will help with that.

Good with Dogs

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.

Eskie Rescuers United American Eskimo Dog Rescue, Inc. is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Please click the donation button below to make a tax-deductible donation through PayPal and help make a difference to even one American Eskimo dog!
