UPDATE: Another family needed me to take care of them for awhile, so I have moved to New Jersey. I am very quick to adapt and am already following the people around to attend to their every need.
ORIGINAL POST: I am Miss Jolie. Like the Angelina person named after me, I want to take care of a big family. My best friend and I took really good care of our person for 8 years. When she got too sick for us to take care of her, she went to live in a hospital, and her family didn’t need us to take care of them. So, they took us to a shelter so other people who would need us could find us. My lifelong fur-buddy must have found someone right away because everyone tells me he went to a better place. The people at the shelter thought I would have better luck finding a family who needed an Eskie with a rescue group. It must be true, because that same day, some people came to take me to their house. I'm helping two other reskie girls take care of the people. Those high-strung reskie girls really needed some help. They run around all the time, while I pay lots of attention to the two-legged ones. Since I have been here, I have been taking really good care of the people. I never ever leave their sides and am always available under their feet just in case they need to reach their hand down to pet my head. If they forget I’m here, I will sometimes give them a little nudge to remind them. I follow them everywhere and am always watching in case they need something. They needed a bath, so I hopped in and used the shampoo so now we all smell nice. They wanted to brush me for a long time, so I let them do that too. See how helpful I can be? If you don’t want to brush me, I’ll happily contribute lots of white furballs to your home décor. I have all my house manners and know to go outside to do my “business”. I prefer you to come outside to watch me so you can see what a good girl I have been. I don’t jump on furniture, but if you want me to sit in your lap on the couch, I could probably figure it out. I will even “sit” if that’s what you want, and I bet I know other things, too. The family I’m staying with already has two reskies and they know how selfish it would be to keep me, when there are so many other deserving homes out there. The people don’t have any children, but I think I would be good with them. I am very mellow and calm. I would even like to have another four-legged friend to help me, but I think I would prefer them to be calmer than the ones I’m helping now. So, if you would like me to adopt you, please fill out an application and feel free to contact my current family at eskiekisses@aol.com. They’ll be happy to provide references.
