Sadie is a 3 year old sweetheart! I've never seen such a more beautiful Eskie before. She is a playful girl, and will NEVER run out of kisses! She is potty trained and gives a signal when she is ready to go out. Once she is out, she walks so well on a leash. Sadie is definitely a little princess!
Sadie loves to be the center of attention, and can even sing! She loves a good head scratch, but is wary of her hindquarters being touched. She is not recommended for a home with young children or one with another alpha female or small dogs.
Sadie is heartworm positive and she started her gentle kill treatment on April 8, 2018. It is imperative that she be kept on an ivermectin-based heartworm preventative (such as Heart Guard, TriHeart) for the rest of her life. Good with Dogs
Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.
If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers. There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
